In Italy and many European countryes, media portrait a monoculturalsociety. Society itself is continuosly represented by the original culture. The migrant communities have no access to media and migrants are often represented through stereotypes. In recent years, a multicultural media movement has become active, so that also minorities can have an active role as communication operators.
